Backlink Checker

See referring domains, backlink totals, and dofollow ratios for any domain.

What is a backlink checker?

Backlinks are links from other websites pointing to yours. Google treats them as a signal of trust — more quality backlinks generally means better rankings. This tool shows you the total backlinks, referring domains, referring pages, and the dofollow/nofollow split for any domain you enter.

What the metrics mean

  • Total Backlinks — the total number of inbound links from other websites
  • Referring Domains — unique root domains linking to the target
  • Referring Pages — unique pages containing at least one link to the target
  • Dofollow Ratio — percentage of links that pass link equity

Why backlinks matter for SEO

Google sees backlinks as votes of confidence. More links from different domains tends to mean higher rankings, and the number of unique referring domains matters more than raw link count — getting 50 links from one site isn't worth much compared to one link each from 50 different sites. Dofollow links pass ranking power directly. Nofollow links don't affect rankings the same way, but they still send real visitors to your site.
